We cannot wait for winter camp! But before then, whether you are attending camp or not - you can download a free activity sheet as part of our weekly gift giveaway to celebrate our one week to go until winter camps open! If you are booking with us, don't forget - we accept childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare too at Camp Beaumont.
So, what’s in store for our winter campers? As well as all our activity favourites including tennis and dodgeball, there’s so much festive fun happening at our winter camps.*
1) Personalised Christmas tree ornaments
Each child will get to choose a wooden Christmas tree decoration that they can decorate with their own artistic flare. A beautiful addition to trees at home or something for the mantelpiece.
2) Beaumont’s Got ‘Christmas’ Talent!
A twist on our usual talent show, campers will take part with a Christmas theme, such as, a dance routine to a Christmas song, or a poem from a group of reindeer. All in all, lots of fun!
3) Greeting card creating
Campers will get to create their very own greeting card to give to a person of their choice, it could be you! Don’t blame us if it isn’t!
4) Christmas cat-walk challenge
All our models will be creating and wearing Christmas or festive themed costumes. We’re expecting snowmen, maybe even Santa himself!
5) 2023 calendar making
For some more crafty fun, campers can decorate mini calendars provided with drawings and colouring-in for each month.
6) Christmas construction challenge
We’ll be building with a Christmas/festive theme, from Santa’s sleighs to igloos!
7) Snowflake making
This classic arty activity must have been created by every parent! Children will fold and shape paper plates to create symmetrical patterns that they can decorate and personalise.
8) Crime scene investigator winter camps style
Teams will investigate to solve a mystery, for example, Santa’s presents have been stolen, who stole them and how do we return them to Santa?!
9) Pinecone decorating
Each child will get to decorate and personalise their own pinecone. This work of art could also make another great tree decoration, or gift for a loved one.
10) Clay workshop
We’ll be creating some wonderful festive/Christmas themed ornaments including Christmas trees and snowmen.
Pssst… Santa will also be visiting our camps and giving out small gifts, but due to his busy flight path we can’t guarantee he’ll be at your child’s camp on the day they attend. We very much hope he is, but we’ll keep this one to ourselves in case any children are really excited to meet him.
* Please note, camp activities will vary per age group, date and location.
"Our 5 year old can be shy and unwilling to try new things but we were delighted with how he skipped in to camp every day."
