New for Easter 2023! Dating back to 1497, The Prebendal School has a rich history, and we are proud to announce, is another new awe-inspiring location for Camp Beaumont’s portfolio of school holiday day camps. On first visiting the school, we were really impressed by not only the beautiful historic architecture but the vastness of grounds and modern facilities. The original building’s historic narrow tower still stands in West Street (for all who know the area) with parts of the school reminiscent of Hogwarts – this is definitely a location for Harry Potter fans! Interesting fact: The Prebendal School led the way to become first British school to become co-educational.
The school talks about their site as being a space for children to flourish, and we have no doubt it’s the perfect setting to nurture and inspire young minds. We cannot wait to bring Camp Beaumont’s exhilarating programmes of school holiday activities to The Prebendal School and for pupils and children, ages 3 to 11 within the local community to enjoy. Our well-thought-out day camps cater to different age groups’ interests and include a wide range of active, crafty and problem solving activities from Medieval Tournaments to Natural Crafts and Crime Scene Investigators.
As The Prebendal School say, ‘Positive relationships and inclusivity are at the heart of our culture’. We pride ourselves on providing a warm, comforting and welcoming feel to our day camps. Every child is included and made to feel extra special throughout their time at Camp Beaumont. It is a priority for us to help children form new friendships and get the most out of their day camp experience. We are also not only a value for money childcare provider, our programmes are confidence-building and are great for encouraging social skills and independence.
Add to all that the incredible facilities available at The Prebendal School, which include: an art room, Astroturf court, huge sports field, multi-purpose hall, playground area and fully equipped classrooms, and our teams have everything they need to deliver the very best school holiday day camps. We can’t wait to meet all our Campers who will be joining us from this Easter.
A spokesperson for The Prebendal School, said: “We are thrilled to partner with such an established day camp provider and to have a local school holiday activity day camp and childcare provision available for both our pupils and the community.”
The staff are brilliant: enthusiastic, kind and engaged. The range of activities is great and the hours are really helpful for working parents. Most importantly our son always comes home happy and tired from a fun day.
