We are delighted to announce Camp Beaumont will be running at another fantastic school from this Easter school holidays and beyond. And we’re even more excited to let local parents know that we will be opening at St. Mary’s School, South Buckinghamshire. Nestled in its own quiet corner just outside of Gerrards Cross, St Mary’s School offers a safe and secure space for your child to meet new people, learn new skills, and burn off lots of energy. As well as a chance to get outdoors and away from screen-time over the school holidays.
Dating back 150 years, St. Mary’s School’s main school building has the most beautiful architecture and character. Their well-established grounds are surrounded by a magnificent border of mature trees, ideal for exploring the great outdoors. With a purpose-built facility for three to five year-olds including their own classrooms and outside space, and separate spaces for ages six and above, St Mary’s School has the perfect infrastructure for our activity teams to deliver our award-winning, age-specific programmes. As a parent, safety is paramount. St. Mary’s School is completed gated, which gives children the freedom to enjoy playing in wide open grounds within the safety of a fully-secure site.
We are particularly impressed by the vastness of indoor and outdoor space available, which includes a fantastic outdoor area used for St. Mary’s Forest School, a multi-use play zone with all the play equipment, plus, state-of-the-art gym equipment, as well as lots of indoor space. There are also exciting adventure trails for walks and outdoor exploration. Something else parents might like to know is, each building has its own toilet so children will never be too far from the nearest facilities.
We simply can’t wait to start delivering our day camp programmes at St. Mary’s School. Camp Beaumont’s much-loved activities span from the more active with Mini Olympics and Crime Scene Investigators to those more focused on crafts including Clay Workshops and Natural Crafts. Our programmes have been designed to not only create lots of enjoyment but to also build confidence, promote independence, and a positive sense of wellbeing. Children will learn new skills, turn their hand to activities they haven’t tried before, meet lots of like-minded friends, and even be inspired to start a new hobby.
Just a five minute walk from Gerrards Cross train station, and a short 3-mile drive to the M40, St Mary’s is in an easily accessible location (and definitely not off the beaten track!). Children can be dropped off on their turning circle and escorted the short distance to Oakdene Hall where we will be giving Campers a very warm welcome. There is also ample parking on-site.
A spokesperson for St. Mary’s School, said: “We are delighted to be working with Camp Beaumont to provide holiday camps both for our students, and the local community. We are excited by the range of activities that will be offered and the breadth of skills children will build whilst taking part. We hope that every child will finish each camp having turned their hand to a new skill, made new friends and a little more confident in their ability!”
The staff are brilliant: enthusiastic, kind and engaged. The range of activities is great and the hours are really helpful for working parents. Most importantly our son always comes home happy and tired from a fun day.
