When we first heard that Cheltenham Ladies’ College was interested in being a location for Camp Beaumont day camps, we were beyond thrilled. Their incredible health and fitness centre - which dates back to the early twentieth century and now equipped with a completely modern interior and extended buildings - is the ideal fit for our exhilarating school holiday activity programmes.

We are delighted to be bringing local parents and children in the Cheltenham area our award-winning activity programmes, and to provide a childcare option during the school holidays at this utterly outstanding location, starting from this Easter school holidays.

A spokesperson for Cheltenham Ladies’ College, said: “We are very excited to be partnered with Camp Beaumont to provide a fun and engaging day camp to local families. Our Health & Fitness Centre has a variety of state-of-the-art facilities and it’s wonderful to be able to share them.

A few interesting facts for all booking a day camp here, take a peek at the steps leading to the entrance. They were part of the original swimming pool, which was built in the early twentieth century (photo featured dates back to 1911). Jump to 2023, and their new 25-metre swimming pool is completely restructured and filtered with a UV disinfection system; which allows them to operate with a low level of chlorine for a more comfortable swimming experience, also making it super Eco friendly. Water temperature is also at a constant 29 degrees. A fantastic facility for our pool-based activities, such as Aqua Olympics.

In addition to their magnificent swimming pool, there are tennis courts and two huge sports halls where our camp activity teams will run our varied programme of activities. Programmes are split by age group and include: Team Ball Sports, Nightline, Junior Yoga, Parachute Games, and lots more. There is something for everyone with our tailored programmes that all promote confidence building and the chance to learn something new. Some campers go on to start new hobbies after their Camp Beaumont experience, and all have the chance to make new friends with like-minded local children. In addition to sports activities, there are spacious rooms available at Cheltenham Ladies’ College for our arts and crafts sessions. Children interested in crafts can make pottery creations at our clay workshops, outfits for catwalk shows, even their own piñatas!

We understand how hard it is to keep children entertained during the school holidays. We are super proud to now offer flexible and affordable childcare for parents in the Cheltenham area. Childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare is also available at this location, and across all Camp Beaumont camps.
