Christmas is a joyful time for many reasons – and it’s the perfect time to get together and be creative. Here are some of our favourite activities that you can do with your children this Christmas!
A festive favourite! This is a fantastic activity to do as a family this Christmas, simply look for your nearest rink and hit the ice! Check out this list of the best ice rinks in the UK to see if you live nearby one!
If you’re feeling really traditional, you can take a stroll around your neighbourhood and impress your friends with your singing skills! Carolling is age-old tradition across the world – and a brilliant opportunity to have fun with family and friends. National Carolling day is on the 20th December –it’s the perfect time to go!
Another chance to get outdoors and enjoy the festivities is to go on a Christmas Light Walk and marvel in the beautiful decorations in your area! Simply wrap up warm and head out the door!
Take the afternoon to relax and create your own Christmas Cards. This is not only a fun activity, but is also very practical – as you can impress loved ones with personalised cards! If you don’t have time to do Christmas crafts at home, you can book your child into our Winter Camps!
You can thank us later for giving you the perfect chance to bring out the biccies! Making a gingerbread house is a fun activity for all of the family – and your children can get creative whilst decorating!
Another brilliant way of encouraging creativity is through Christmas crafts. Head to your local crafts shop and get the bits to make a paperchain or some Christmas bunting with the kids! It’s a super affordable and stress-free activity.
A simple yet effective idea is to create a Candy Cane Hunt in your home! Get a selection of candy canes from your local supermarket and hide them around your house. Your children will have a great time trying to find them all – and be rewarded with sweet treats.
At the end of a long day, get comfy and pop on your favourite Christmas film. We love Miracle on 34th Street, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and The Santa Clause trilogy. (Hot chocolate and snacks are essential for this one!)
What are your festive family traditions? Let us know if there’s anything we’ve missed out! We’ll be running our Winter Camps from the 16th – 20th December with Christmas crafts and festivities as well as our sports, arts and fun programmes that we run all year-round. Book your space today!

The staff are brilliant: enthusiastic, kind and engaged. The range of activities is great and the hours are really helpful for working parents. Most importantly our son always comes home happy and tired from a fun day.
