We can’t wait to welcome your child to Camp Beaumont. If you’re wondering what to pack, or what not to pack, we’ve pulled together a handy checklist below. We also recommend labelling all your child’s items with your child’s full name, including their backpack/bag.

What to pack

  • A nut free lunch and snacks (for two snack breaks)
  • Water bottle (water stations are provided to top up throughout the day)
  • Swimming costume and towel (if your camp offers swimming) with a carrier bag for wet items
  • Hat and suncream (for hot days)
  • Footwear to suit the weather with a change of shoes (if it’s looking particularly wet/muddy)
  • Any medication that needs to be administered (refrigeration facilities are available at all camps)
  • Waterproof jacket and boots (if rain is forecast)

What not to bring

  • Any special clothes or items (expect footwear to get messy as children will most likely be playing outdoors)
  • Phones and screens
  • Money and valuables

What to have to hand ahead of your child’s day camp

  • Camp contact number (provided with your booking confirmation) and Head Office number (01603 851000)
  • Map and directions

The staff are brilliant: enthusiastic, kind and engaged. The range of activities is great and the hours are really helpful for working parents. Most importantly our son always comes home happy and tired from a fun day.
