At Camp Beaumont we work super closely with our partner In2action who work tirelessly to deliver the most educational, impactful and fun Camp Beaumont programmes that are implemented across all of our sites.

Thanks for joining us Kylie, take it away...

o Name: Kylie Evans

o Business Role: Concept Design Manager at In2action

o How many years working on/with Camp Beaumont? A few years now – we were running training courses and working on programmes and concepts before In2action joined the Inspiring Learning Family!

o What was your starting role within the company? I started in 2009 as an Activity Courier working on European Campsites. From there I took on a variety of roles abroad, working all over the world before packing away my suitcase in 2015 and starting a full time position on the Isle of Wight working in our office.

o What’s been the best thing about watching and helping CB grow over the years? It's incredible to know that the work we do together is directly affecting the lives of young people during their school holidays. I truly believe that activities and the people that deliver them have the power to really affect change, by bringing fun to the forefront and allowing children to discover more about themselves. Designing activities with this in mind is really rewarding.

o What have you most enjoyed working on? It's been incredible to spend time with the Camp Beaumont teams redesigning the activity provision for Camps and introducing new activities that staff enjoy delivering and children enjoy attending!

o What do you think we have always done best at Camp Beaumont and In2action? Putting people at the heart of it all and treating children and staff teams as true individuals. Our training courses have the power to really impact individual staff members, too, and delivering these is a fun part of our role at In2action.

o Where do you think the biggest changes have been over the years? Technology advances have really made changes in the activity industry – from the way we register children for activities to the actual sessions they take part in, and from the way we recruit our teams to the way they are trained – it's really incredible what can be achieved.

o What are you most excited to see happen in the next 20 years? There is so much potential for growth and expansion to entertain even more children in each school holiday, and I can't wait to introduce even more activities to the Camp Beaumont programme. That said, it's most exciting to know that every decision we make helps us achieve our goal of delivering inspiring adventures to children and young people throughout the school holidays.
